ZEN GARDENS 2018 I have selected a few items from my time as Professional Artist in Residence at Pratt Fine Arts Center to be available as digital prints. 18 x 18, on warm white paper, and I will donate 10% of your purchase to Pratt Fine Arts Center. more text below the thumbs . . .

I had always wanted to do silkscreen printing (also called serigraphy), which this month long residency gave me the opportunity to explore. Pratt has a fully equipped print studio, and after a bit of instruction, I went to work. By using a square format, I could randomly rotate and overprint motifs into the same image area. With that method, and by changing ink colors, I produced over 500 unique prints. The vast majority, though perhaps interesting, were not up to my standards of exhibition quality, and I winnowed the number of keepers down to about 20.
The central image area measures about 9 1/2” square.
